Ellen Driver-Nyakurimwa is an Associate Attorney with Tocci & Lee, LLC, specializing in business immigration law. Ms. Driver-Nyakurimwa has been practicing exclusively in the field of immigration law since 2009.
Prior to joining Tocci & Lee in 2024, her practice focused on family-based immigration, naturalization, removal defense, asylum, and humanitarian cases. After receiving her J.D. in 2009, Ms. Driver-Nyakurimwa spent nine years as an associate at an immigration law firm in Boston, then went on to run a solo immigration law practice for several years.
Ms. Driver-Nyakurimwa has presented on immigration topics at the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) National Conference, AILA New England Pro Bono Committee, and Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education. She has done pro bono work with several local and national organizations, including at the Dilley Pro Bono Project in Texas, assisting mothers and children detained in DHS custody.
Ms. Driver-Nyakurimwa holds a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law (2009), and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish from Bowdoin College (2002). She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and previously served as an AILA New England Chapter liaison to U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the New Members Division. She is admitted to practice law in the state bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
