Rebecca Royer is an Associate Attorney with Tocci & Lee, LLC, who specializes in employment litigation practice and unemployment appeals. Ms. Royer represents clients in both state, administrative, and federal courts in matters concerning wage and hour disputes, discrimination, retaliation, harassment and toxic work environments, employment misclassification, medical and family leave violations, civil rights violations, contract disputes, consumer protection actions, and various other claims which arise out of an employment relationship. She also advocates before the Department of Unemployment Assistance and the Board of Review for unemployment claimants who are denied benefits or are commanded to repay benefits they have already received.
Ms. Royer is a graduate of New England Law | Boston with a Juris Doctorate in 2014 after completing a bachelor’s degree in English at the University of Texas at Austin in 2010 in only five semesters. Ms. Royer is a member of the Massachusetts Employment Lawyers Association. She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the Federal First Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to joining Tocci & Lee, Rebecca ran her own solo practice, with experience in general litigation, consumer protection, and family law matters in addition to the employment law experience she brings with her to Tocci & Lee. She lives in Auburndale with her daughter and rescue dog, Lucy, and proudly considers herself an expert fiber artist and passionate “maker.”
